What if, instead of a subscription to the theater… you had a prescription?
Join innovators in healthcare Chris Appleton and Eric Holmgren in an evening of conversation exploring the scientific benefits of engaging in the arts, and future of Social Prescriptions as a part of a holistic health care plan.
Erik Holmgren serves as the Program Manager for Creative Youth Development and Education at the Massachusetts Cultural Council where he oversees the agency’s groundbreaking work in Culture Rx, a social and cultural prescription model. In their own words, Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Culture RX initiative seeks to “To build a public infrastructure that supports the role of cultural experiences as a protective factor in the health and well-being of all people in the Commonwealth.” (more on the social prescription)
